MD Stetson offers a unique service for primary users of our products and services. The Managed Inventory Service assures inventory control and chemical safety for your custodial operations.
Our technician--not a sales person--will go to
every building and audit each custodial closet
and/or stockroom on a
monthly basis to take inventory of all pertinent products. The
inventory on hand is compared to the par levels set up at the onset
of the program and an order is drafted to align the inventory with
the appropriate par levels. All orders are entered following
the proper departmental protocol. Stetson will provide a
spreadsheet outlining estimated usage for the fiscal year. If
there are irregularities, the technician will address them right
away before they get out of control, and/or the facility runs out of
product. Stetson will provide individual reporting by facility,
and provide a recap sheet showing usage and any irregularities.
In addition, our In-service Technician will make sure that chemical safety is being adhered to. The technician will make sure the right products are in the correct color-coded bottles. If additional bottles are needed or if existing bottles have worn labels, he will inform the appropriate personnel. All dispensers will be tested and repaired or replaced, if necessary. The technician will also check for MSDS's each time he visits. The technician will make sure the MSDS's are in the proper location and that they are up to date.
Minor training issues will be handled by the technician on an individual basis as he makes his rounds through the facilities. However, as new custodians come on board, formal training sessions will be arranged. The technician will make note of new custodians as he makes his rounds. Quarterly, the technician will organize training and in-service on the major issues. Training will take place on-site. Training aides will be provided through our "Catch the Training" program.
